Hello - we were very excited to see your letter in SMH Travel and logged on to see where you were up to now. We spent a lovely week camping at Picnic Point, Mimosa Rocks last October - a fascinating, peaceful place that we were lucky enough to share with only one other family of campers. We want to get back there soon. Wishing you a wonderful journey. Your pictures are magic.

Hi David,
As an avid reader of SMH Travel, your letter immediately attracted me to learn more. My sort of thing except not retired (but wish I was); not as grey as some, but love our environment and your descriptions.
Can I join the NZ adventure next ?

Great stuff to read about your walk in SMH Travel, I organise low impact walks (others do medium and hard walks) for a group known as Women in the Bush. I was pleased to read your diary and see the pictures as we are heading down to Ulladulla/Lake Conjola later in the year, keen to see the Aboriginal track that has been set up in Ulladulla, your notes are excellent, thanks for sharing your experience ... Pearlie.

Hi Pennie,
Finally managed to access your site, and have been fascinated by your journey. Photos are terrific, and written commentary so interesting. We are learning so much from your account. Received your postcard from Jervis Bay; it is one of our favourite places also.
I am still trying to hit that little white ball, but with mixed results. Enjoy your adventure.
Kay.

Hi Pennie and David,
Thanks for sharing your walk with us. You'd think that I would have had enough of travelling for a while but I got the wander-lust again when I saw your photos and read your hiking notes. Our little girl Elisha (6 weeks) is keeping us busy. Hopefully Magen and I can teach her about camping this dry season.
Say a special hello to the Nadgee Nature Reserve for me on your way through.
Regards,
Bill, Magen and Elisha

J'adore votre site. Tout y est tres interssant: la description des paysages au travers de vos randonnées, les photos que vous avez prises; c'est comme si on était avec vous, la fatigue en moins.
Avec mes amitiés
